The feeding directions and table are intended as a guide for developing your goat’s greatest potential for show and breeding. Be sure to monitor body condition and performance closely and adjust feed amounts as may be necessary for your particular goat and situation.
- Feed Show Goat Sales Edge™ formula to young kids as a creep feed from one week of age to weaning.
- After weaning, feed Show Goat Sales Edge™ formula as the sole ration for kids up to 60 pounds of bodyweight at the rate of 3.5% of bodyweight to promote optimum growth and muscle development. Use the feeding table below as a guide.
- For newly purchased kids, feed Show Goat Sales Edge™ formula for at least 21 days before transitioning to the Show Goat Developer formula. The Show Goat Sales Edge™ formula is specially designed to help kids handle the stress associated with change and to promote continued growth and development during this critical transition period.
- After the transition, feed Show Goat Developer formula as the sole ration for show and breeding goats from 60 pounds of bodyweight to finish at the rate of 3.5% of bodyweight (full feed) to promote optimum growth and muscle development.
